Thanksgiving Vacation!!!

OK I'm really excited for Thanksgiving vacation. I love all the different foods I get to have. I usually will have 2 turkey dinners. One at my house and one at my grandmas. For lunch we go to my grandmas and it is normally really big. We have probably around 27+ people there if everyone goes. Its sad when we have to eat in 3 different rooms and before we eat when everyone is catching up on whats going on with each other people are scattered through out my grandmas house. All the moms are in the kitchen helping cook and prepare the food, all the guys are in the living room talking and sharing stories, and all the kids are in the back part of the living room chatting up storms having fun catching up. My family is big and I love it. We always are playing jokes on each other and we always have a funny story we have to tell (even the embarrassing ones). Its so much fun even though its crowded. When we hear its time to eat we all go running and try to find a place to sit. Normally all the adults will eat in the dinning room, the kids will eat in the smaller dinning room. And who ever doesnt have a seat eat in the living room. My grandpa hates having us all eat seperately and would have us all eat together but its just impossible. hehe OK my grandma makes so good of food that we all eat so much that afterwards we all fight for the couches to lay down. But the adults usually kick the kids to the floor. When we go home of course we have to take leftovers home...so by the end of the day we end up having our turkey dinner very late at night. But thats still very good.
So thats why im excited for Thanksgiving break.

Time flys

Wow 2 weeks left of school....damn where does the time go. Its crazy how fast time flys by. At the beginging of the semester we cant wait for it to be over with but by the time of the semester is here we dont want it to end because we have fun in classes. Meeting new people and makeing tons of new friends. Id have to say the 4 years I hav been here that is the best thing that has come out of here....is all the friends I have made for life.

Ok being that this is my 4th year here at canton college....let me tell you im am sick of being here. Im here for the 2 year vet tech program but it will take me 5 years at this damn college just to get that degree. Probably thinking wtf?!?!? well almost every semester I have been here I have been screwed over by the college one way or another. So lately I have been so stressed out and having problems more like DRAMA and little things are ticking me off and just to think I have one more flippin year at this college doesnt help any......Someone get me the fuck out of here.....

well last night the power went out in the dorms and omg everyone went to the lounge and was screaming and yelling because the power went out. wow its as if they never been in a power outage. This was at almost midnight and people were saying "yay we wont have classes because of no power." hmmmm guess what it was on in an hour...haha stupid retards.

Also the college is going to plow less to save enregy. When I heard that I thought to myself.......hmmmm when did they plow before......??? The 4 years I have been here the plowing has definatly gotten worse.........The college does a very sucky job plowing when they do plow ....so now there going to plow less.....hmmmm so does that mean they are not going to plow at all..???? hahaha

Saw V

wow I just seen Saw V. It was pretty good. I jumped a few times but omg it was really gory. I wont ruin it for anyone but it defiantly ties up all the other 4 Saw movies and I defiantly think there will be a 6th one.

Man why does it always seem that I dont have hw then all of a sudden I have so much hw my mind feels like its gonna explode. I only have four classes and there not really classes with alot of work....at least so it seemed during the beginning of the semester. Now this weekend I will be so swamped with hw ugh......I love college.....

sad day

Well todays the day my brother goes back to Afghanistan till end of march. He called yesterday to say goodbye. Its the worst thing ever and I'll miss him so much and I'll be counting down the days......

Frustrated

Man I dont know what is going on but we kept losing power and losing the internet and its hard to do and online class when the internet kept going out. I was so frustrated that I had to stop doing my work. Hence to why im doing it now. Grrrrr

my thoughts

Going back and typing and rereading my work I realized there was a lot of mistakes. There were many spelling, grammar, and most of the sentances werent sentances. I noticed when I typed the work up I corrected it as I went and added things. I also had more ideas that came to my head that made the piece better. I really critized myself because when I reread them things didnt sound right so I had to change them.

Post 3 - description of outside

The sun is shining bright giving off so much warm heat for fall weather. The sun reflects off the buildings shining bright. The trees leaves have changed from rich solid green to bright brilliant orange, yellow, and reds. The wind blows through the branches moving them in all directions as if there waving at all the other trees. As the cool wind blows through the branches the leaves slowly break away from the branches they rested on all year long. It was if it was time for them to grow up and leave the nest to finish their purpose in life. As the leaves slowly and swiftly float to the ground the wind catches them spinning and tumbling in air making it look like their dancing. The wind gently lets them finish falling and let them hit the ground without a sound. The little bugs try to hang on for dear life as the taller pieces of grass sway with every whoosh of the wind. When people walk by you hear all the leaves and twigs beneath their feet go “CRUNCH, CHRUNCH.” In the distance all you hear is almost silence. The only sounds you hear is the brushing of the branches hitting each other when the wind blows and the birds talking back and forth. When looking at the ground you see shadows of the tall trees and birds flying by over head. You see squirrels chasing each other up a tree one right after another as if they were two little kids playing tag.

Post 2 - freeze you to death

Standing, listening to the wind howling in the distance you get colder and colder. The wind is so strong, swirling around you it scoops up small piece of snow and ice and slams it into the side of your face. Bones begin to ach with ever burst of cold air swooshing by you. You can’t see anything past your nose from the blinding cloud of white. The wind blows all the snow around so it’s a blizzard.

Post 1 - object in a room

The room in my house I picked was the Kitchen. The object in the house that I remembered the most was the refrigerator. It’s actually a funny story....Back in high school, I was getting ready in the morning for school and I was getting something to eat for breakfast. Well as I leaned into the fridge to grab the milk for my cereal, of course my bad knee decided to give out and the force of my knee giving out flung me forward slamming my forehead into the bottom of the freezer door. I hit the freezer door so hard that I bounced off it and fell backwards. In the process of falling I never realized how close to the counter I was till I slammed the back of my head onto it and continued falling to the floor. To make matters worse my head just happened to land in the dog’s water dish, as water went every where’s including drenching me in the process. My mom came running because she heard the loud thud of me hitting everything including the floor and she seen me lying on the floor in the water laughing hysterically and asked me what had happened. Well I told her and all she could say was you’re such a klutz. So every time I go to the fridge I always think of that and have to laugh a little.

Finally I can breathe...

the past few weeks have been so stressful I was feeling like I couldnt breathe. I had english project, history project, math test, history test, all due with in a 2 week time period. Plus I went home to see my brother and had to say goodbye to him till march which sucks so bad. That just makes me worried 24/7. So now that everything is done I finally feel like I can breathe again.

well today I was sitting in class when I realized a screw in my glasses broke in half so my lense poped out. So I cant get them fixed till saturday. which kinda sucks because I can barely see 6ft in front of me and thats objects blurred...but if your within 4ft of me i def can see you. So if I dont acknowledge you if you walk by me the reason why is because IM BLIND!!! hahaha

Long but fun day.....

Today was so long and exhausting but I had so much fun. First I went off to walmart to buy some pink hair dye. I sprayed my hair so it was bright pink. Then it was off to the Breast Cancer walk. It was fun to see all the people who showed up. Then it was off to my nephews 1st birthday party at chukie cheeses. It was fun. Then I went and visited my grandmas and then made the long 2 hour drive back up to college... Im so exhausted im going to bed......

Finally!!!!

I got to see my brother today ....finally. It was so good to see my brother. I wish I could spend more time with him but stupid school.... Next time I get to see him will be in March sometime. I also got to see my nephew. He has gotten so big since the last time I seen him. He will be 1 on monday. It will be a while before I see him again also....

Counting The Days

4 more days till I get to see my brother. Finally its seems like I haven't seen him in forever. My brother is currently serving in the United States ARMY and is stationed over in Afghanistan. He will be home on leave for 2 weeks starting Wednesday. I'm so excited to see him. I will sadly only get to see him for 2 days because of damn school.... but ill take what I can get. Since I wont see him again till end of March 2009. I'M SO EXCITED I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE MY BROTHER!!!!!!!

Today was family weekend and they all these different vendors here. I got my hand molded from wax. Oh My God was that a painful yet interesting process. First you have to stick your hand in a freezing cooler of ice water. You have to leave it there for like 3-5 min, basically till your hand feels like you have needles shooting through it. Then you have to stick it in very hot wax. Which you don't feel because your hand is so numb from the ice water. You dunk your hand about 20 times in the position you want it in. Then you dip it about 10 times in the colored wax you want. Then the guy loosened the wax around your hand. After that you had to put your hand back in ice water to make the wax go solid and remover the wax from your hand. Then ta da you have your wax mold of your had. See it was so cool i had to do it again.....hehe

HAHAHA

Well growing up I kinda accepted the fact that im a clutz...and i really accepted it when my doctor told me to get accident insurance for myself......but man I wish I would grow out of it.... hehe..... Tuesday I was walking down the stairs in the dorm with my laundry and guess what .........did you guess....I fell.... My bad right knee locked up and slide my foot forward so I hit a slippery spot on the stairs. So my foot slide backwards, which cause my bad left ankle(mind you that only has little less than half a ligament left in it) to flop out and lose my balance( which I dont have to begin with ) and down I went......so now I think I really badly pulled my thigh muscle because I can barely walk...and its worse today so tomorrow I defintaly need to go to the doctors. Its not fun walking 5 steps and have your leg give out on you and it looks like im gonna sit down. yeah very painful.....I guess its just another injury to add to my list....haha and thats one heck of a loooooooooooooooooooooooooooong list....hahah If they were ranked worst injury this one might either go after the contusion tiba or torn ligament in my ankle.... and im careful I swear......HAHAHAHAHA

My cat Gizmo.....

Gizmo was one of my first cats and he passed away June 14, 2006. He was 16 yrs old. I miss him alot... He was a very loving cat, who weighed 30lbs and lived a happy life. He was my baby and followed me everywheres. Sadly he lost all his teeth and couldnt eat much so I had to hand feed him when he wouldnt eat. He got really skinny his last few days alive. I was home alone the day he passed away and I was there when he took his last breath....the hardest thing I had to ever see.....

Just seen....

I just got back from seeing Burn After Reading. That movie was so dumb it was funny. Most of it I sat through saying what the fuck. Im still wondering how people come up with these ideas for movies like this one. Im not going to ruin the movie for anyone who hasnt seen it but its very funny but I wouldn't see it again.

My New Pet

I got a new pet last week and its a carnivore. Hmm trying to figure out what it is? Well its a Venus Fly Trap. I think they are facinating plants. I finally found a fly so I got to feed it yesterday. It will release a digestive enzyme and digest the fly. This takes about a week and then it dont have to be fed for another two weeks. Each trap only closes 4 time then it dies off and a new one will grow back but bigger. Right now mine are really tiny and has a few big ones but im closeing all the small traps so they will die off and bigger ones will come. When I was reading online about them they said to at least try sticking your finger in one to close it. So I did and its awesome. It dont hurt or anything it just cool how they use movement to close. They need to be really humid and need only a few hours of sunlight. When the traps turn red it means they had enough sun. During the winter they need to go dormat. I had a Venus Fly Trap before but I killed it when I tired to make it go dormat. Hopefully I can keep this one alive.

*Snow Art*

These are snow animals I have made every winter since 2001. I havent been able to make them the past few years because we have gotten way to much snow. From top left is a snowmobiler, a pig, guy with a dogsled and some some small dogs , sea serpant going across my front yard, and a rhino that froze over so it was in our yard weeks after all the other snow melted away. I also made a hippo, and a coca cola bear but cant find the pictures of them. The one that took me the longest was the rhino, because it took me over 8 hours to finish. I think this is art and I like making theses snow creatures because everyone gets to enjoy them when they drive by my house.

A Little About Me.....

Well, where to start.... Im 20, this is my fourth year at canton and im busy chasing my dreams of being a zoo veterinary technician. Ever since I first went to a zoo I knew I wanted to work in one and work with all the different kind of animals. My ultimate favorite zoo animal is monkeys, but I love them all. I have 2 cats; Minowa, who is black and white and the one in my picture and Jazmin, who is a orange tiger kitty. My dog Daisy, who was a border collie just passed away the day I moved back into college. I used to bring Minowa to college with me but she is way to active for dorm life. haha I also love music and have been playing the clarinet for 10 years and teaching myself the violin for 4 years now. I love learning songs in American Sign Language on my spare time and scrapbooking. Im a person who loves to laugh and smile, there are rare times I am not doing either...im a little shy at first but once I get to know you im very talkative..thats pretty much me in a nut shell....
